Basic pillar

Teaching, along with our scientific and research activities, represent the basic pillar of the work of the CEG of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU. A large number of students have studied at the Josef facility during its more than twenty years of operation. We participate in the teaching of subjects based on research in the geotechnical laboratory and the disposal of radioactive waste in the real rock environment of the Josef Underground Laboratory. Josef is used for the teaching not only of students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the CTU, Prague, but also students from other CTU faculties and universities, e.g. the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, Masaryk University, Brno and others. More information is available from Radek Vašíček. 😀
